About Us
Hi! My name is Katy (Kildea) Bennett. I am a former veterinary technician, a dog trainer, and certainly an animal lover--this is my calling, if you will.
Prior to boarding dogs I was a veterinary technician and I taught basic obedience classes for many years at a local vet clinic, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I began boarding dogs one at a time in 2000 in my home. I so enjoyed meeting new dogs and new people that I expanded to taking a few dogs at a time.
Soon, my home in the city of Charlottesville was getting too small for three kids and several dogs so we moved to beautiful Greene County where we could have a larger yard. We were there for three wonderful years but found the need to expand once again. So......We moved to our new place 7 miles away in mid-May, 2006. We now have 7 acres of woods to play in!
